What if becoming healthier isn’t ultimately about having more willpower—but about becoming more like Jesus?
So often, we approach health by focusing on what we need to do: eat better, exercise more, stay on plan, have more self-control, try harder, start over Monday. But lasting change begins somewhere deeper.
Becoming Her is a four-week Bible study designed to help us move beyond simply changing our behaviors and allow God to transform our hearts.
Together, we’ll study the character of God—what His attributes reveal about who He is, what they reveal about our own hearts, and how the Holy Spirit uses His truth to transform us from the inside out.
We’ll talk honestly about fear, shame, impatience, comparison, perfectionism, self-control, inconsistency, and our tendency to rely on ourselves instead of God. Then we’ll bring those struggles back to Scripture and ask:
Who is God in this place? What is He revealing in me? And what would it look like to become more like Jesus here?
This isn’t about becoming a woman who never struggles or finally gets everything right.
It’s about becoming a woman who looks more like Jesus.
When God changes our hearts, our habits begin to follow.
Instead of striving, we learn faithfulness.
Instead of shame, we choose grace.
Instead of relying on willpower alone, we practice Spirit-led self-control.
Instead of constantly starting over, we learn how to keep going.
And we’ll bring it all into real life—our thoughts, food choices, movement, routines, relationships, boundaries, and the way we care for our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Healthy habits still matter. Guardrails still matter. Our choices matter.
But they begin flowing from a heart that is being renewed.
My prayer is that you finish Becoming Her knowing God more deeply, recognizing where He is transforming your heart, and learning to walk faithfully with Him one choice at a time.
This isn't about becoming perfect. It's about becoming more like Christ.
🌸 Come join us for Becoming Her.
Becoming healthier isn’t ultimately about having more willpower—it’s about becoming more like Jesus. 🌸
Becoming Her is an invitation to let God transform your heart so the way you care for your mind, body, and spirit begins to change from the inside out.
