What Is BUDS?

What You’ll Get Inside the 4-Week BUDS Program:

BUDS is my live group coaching program that blends Trim Healthy Foundations with Trim Healthy Wisdom so you can stop guessing and start feeling confident.


If you are new to Trim Healthy Mama, coming back after a break, or trying to get back on track after a hard season, this group is for you. I will walk you step by step through the plan, answer your questions, and show you how to make THM fit your real life.


Inside BUDS you will learn:

  • The core Trim Healthy basics so you finally understand the “why” behind the plan 
  • My favorite Wizzy ways to make meals simple, budget friendly, and doable
  • How to build plates that keep your blood sugar steady and your energy more stable
  • How to create routines that help you stay consistent without perfection


You are not just watching videos. You are walking with a coach and a community each week.

How It Works:

To keep BUDS focused and powerful, I now offer this group only four times a year.


2026 BUDS Rounds:

  • January 4 - 31 - Registration opens December 27, 2025
  • March 1 - 28
  • August 2 - 29
  • October 4 - 31
     

Each round is four weeks long.


During your four weeks in BUDS you will get:


  • Weekly Live Teaching with Q and A so you can learn the plan and get your questions answered in real time
  • Weekly Kitchen Demo so you can see what Trim Healthy looks like in a real kitchen with real food
  • Lifetime Access to BUDS Resources so you can come back to the materials any time you need a reset
  • Access to me as your coach for the entire month. You can ask me anything and I will respond within 24 hours.
     

You are not expected to learn everything at once. We take it one step at a time so you can build confidence and momentum.

Coach Amy’s THM Testimony

THM changed everything for me.

Nine years ago I started Trim Healthy Mama because I was tired of riding the rollercoaster of unhealthy habits. I wanted something simple and sustainable that honored my faith, my family, and my health.


I learned how to fuel my body with confidence, break the all or nothing mindset, and create steady habits that fit my real life as a wife, mom of five, and full time business owner. Over the years CrossFit, THM, and strong boundaries helped me lose weight, gain energy, and build a lifestyle I could actually maintain.


Six years ago I said yes to becoming a Trim Healthy coach. Since then I have coached more than a thousand women, taught countless classes, and poured my heart into helping women feel confident and capable on this journey. Today I serve as the Director of the Coaching Program for Trim Healthy Mama, where I support, train, and guide coaches all over the world. I am also a Trim Healthy Executive Coach.


I know the plan inside and out, but more importantly, I know women. I know what it feels like to juggle real life, busy schedules, stress, and setbacks. I know what it takes to build consistency with grace, not shame.


You do not need perfection.
You need a guide who understands the journey.

1. Weekly Live Teaching with Q and A
Each week I teach a focused topic on THM foundations and Wizzy ways, then answer your questions. You will know what to do right now, not just “someday.”


2. Weekly Kitchen Demo
You will see me in the kitchen making real Trim Healthy style meals and snacks. This helps you see portions, combinations, and how simple it can be.


3. Lifetime Access To BUDS Resources
You will receive resources, education, and replays that you can return to any time you need a reset. BUDS is one month of live coaching with tools that last for years.


4. Direct Access To Me As Your Coach
You are not doing this alone. During your BUDS month you can send me questions and I answer within 24 hours. You have a coach in your corner.


5. Supportive Community
You will be surrounded by other women who are learning right along with you. There is encouragement, accountability, and a place to celebrate your progress.


6. Access to Blooms at a Discounted Rate
After completing BUDS, you will qualify to join my Blooms Group Coaching at a special discounted rate. This gives you continued support, community, live coaching, and ongoing momentum after your four week BUDS month is complete.

Coach Amy has taken the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle and made it applicable and simple to implement and live. Her educational materials do not make you feel like you are drinking from a fire hose and drowning. I learned so much in Buds - new food choices and ways of better planning . Being held accountable not just to myself but to another person makes one think before eating !!! I also learned just because we can eat more fat maybe we should not over do it. I also learned that permissible may be ok but is not best.

Can I say that I loved  everything? It all stacked upon each other and I feel like I was able to keep adding to my THM toolbelt. 


I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for months and after join Buds 2.0 and staying on plan, I am able to wear my wedding ring again! This is a huge win and motivation to keep going!


I've had other THM coaches in the best, they were amazing too, but Coach Amy is above and beyond. The community she has created makes me feel like I'm joining a family and I feel like I found my place in the THM world. Coach Amy is inspiring and detailed. I love her "no excuse" mentality, it helped wake myself up out of the "treat yourself" mindset and really focus on my goals. The live in the kitchen and menus are my fave!  I loved all of the group - but meal planning and prep I struggle with so much!!  Being able to have the menu at my fingertips, planned out for me all I had to do was order the ingredients and I had my meals for the week! I love that they are all family friendly, and my family has enjoyed most of them as well!


I feel SO much less bloated and I have already had most of my joint pain subside!! And I’ve saved SO much on NOT door dashing!!!

No. BUDS is designed for beginners or anyone who needs a clear, steady restart. I teach from the ground up with simple steps.


Yes. Many ladies love doing BUDS whenever they need a reset or fresh motivation. You are welcome to join as many rounds as you like.


Yes. After completing BUDS, you qualify to join my Blooms Membership at a special discounted rate. Blooms gives you weekly coaching, community, accountability, kitchen lives, and ongoing encouragement so you stay consistent long after your BUDS month ends.


No. I am a coach, not a doctor. I provide education, guidance, and support inside the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle. Always talk with your provider about your specific medical needs.


You will get sample ideas, templates, and simple frameworks, but I do not create strict, one size fits all meal plans. I teach you how to build your own plates and routines with confidence.
